Aria Pro2 Tenor Banjo

a beautiful Japanese made 19 fret tenor banjo in excellent condition. These were a copy of the Gibson mastertone banjos and they do host quality parts including the flathead tone ring. Maple neck with bound ivoriod side binding and inlaid black position markers. Rosewood fretboard with Gibson style MOP and good frets with hardly any play wear. 30mm bone nut with, ebony head stock bearing Aria logo floral inlay and trust rod cover. Good straight neck with low action with the backup of the installed trust rod. Quality tuners with white buttons and recently installed clear head and maple/ebony bridge with plastic inserts. Clamshell tailpiece and engraved armrest, tube and flange skirt and zinc flathead tone ring giving this banjo loud but sweet driving performance, believe me it is a lovely banjo to play.  As you’ll see from the photos this banjo is in A1 condition for an almost 50 year old instrument and has been well cared for. There is a small varnished area on the side of headstock which has flaked, I have applied lacquer over it and it is solid. Comes with hardshell case.
