Paul Conlon

photo of paul conlon playing a Epiphone B tenor banjoBelfast born, tenor banjo player Paul Conlon has been playing the traditional Irish music scene for around 25 years. He has toured with various traditional music outfits in Europe but has always based his roots on home soil.

Paul is currently teaching banjo/mandolin at Glengormley School of Traditional Music (GSOTM) based at Edmond Rice College, Glengormley, and at The Belfast Traditional Music Society, (Belfast Trad) based at the Cresent Arts Centre, Belfast. See time-table below.

Glengormley School of Traditional Music

There are two classes running every Thursday evening, beginner classes from (7.30pm – 8.30pm) & Intermediate classes from (8.30pm – 9.30pm). Contact the school to see if there are places remaining. Courses are soon to complete by end of May 2017. New term begins September 2017, details will follow when confirmed.

The Belfast Traditional Music Society

There are four classes running every Wednesday evening, beginner and improver classes from (6.00pm – 7.00pm) and upper intermediate and advanced from (6.00pm – 7.00pm). Courses are soon to complete by end of May 2017. New term begins September 2017, details will follow when confirmed.
