A very glamorous looking banjo from the Bacon Company. Gold plating throughout and rhinestones to the headstock, this banjo is meant to be played on the big stage under the spotlights. It is a quality instrument built by Gretsch around the late 1960’s with lots of pearloid, gold hardware and other snazzy appointments, maple neck, flat plate resonator, bound ebony fretboard, 11″ clear Remo Weather King head, 24 brackets and shoes, flat top Silver Bell tone ring, ‘f’ hole flange and B&D knee mute, original engraved Oettinger tailpiece, Page E geared tuners, 1-3/16″ nut, 22-1/4″ scale.
