Goldtone Short Scale Tenor Banjo SS-250 Model
The TS-250 combines exceptional tone with exquisite appearance and features low playing action for easy chording and maximum speed. The authentic pot design carries a bell brass flathead tone ring, a one-piece flange and a fourteen-inch resonator. The 17 fret, short scale fingerboard features hearts and flowers inlay and is bound in white celluloid. This tenor banjo is in new like condition and has a couple of upgrades namely the installed pickup and the Oettinger tailpiece. Very easy to play and the sound is powerful due to the fitted bell brass tone ring. This one was custom built by Andy Perkins, serial number ‘N19255’ and model ‘SS-250 f’. You won’t find too many for sale second hand as owners tend to keep them! The owner of this one just has too many!!
