19 fret Paramount Leader tenor banjo from mid 20’s. Rosewood 5 piece neck with centre maple laminates and checked side binding. Headstock is highly decorated with mother of pearl in the Leader Style design. The figure 8 page tuners all work perfectly and hold tuning well, bone nut, and MOP inlay position marker on rosewood fret board. The action on the neck is set low and the neck is perfectly straight. The heavy maple rim supports the arch top tone ring which gives these banjos their shear power and resonance. Fitted with 11- 2/16″ weatherking white smooth top head, 24 brackets, round hole flange, Paramount hotdog arm rest and Paramount swivel lock tailpiece.
